The Band Collection - Album Release Party at Four Corners Framing Gallery - Pop Up Art Show!

The announcement you all (or at least I) have been waiting for!!!

I’m thrilled to invite you all to the Album Release Party for my collection, THE BAND.

Here's what you can expect:

  • The debut of a 13-piece painting that I've been working on during live events this year involving a couple guitars, a drumset, a bass, and some other interesting musical characters...

  • Another multi-piece installment, but this time on wooden panels

  • A handful of other musical portraits AND my Demos of The Band (think sketches!)

  • Brand new band merch samples

  • Some limited edition artist proofs (one of the last batches of these I'll be ordering before going to numbered editions)

  • + Live music, small bites, & refreshments

HUGE thank you to Kim at Four Corners Framing and Gallery for presenting and supporting the event, as well as my family Amanda and Justin at 158 on MAIN and Waves Entertainment for helping source some musical talent for the evening! Final band selected to perform is TBD.

One of the best parts is that after the pop-up art show, you can just mosey on down to 158 or one of the other local venues to enjoy some FREE live music for Entertainment District Night presented by Waves/158 and the Town of Mooresville!

Please invite your local musically-inclined friends and family. It would mean the world to me to connect this work with the broader local music community.

The Band is an expressive return to a subject I explored first in my career—musical instruments.

Embracing experimentation, improvisation, and spontaneity, these instruments reflect the joy, rhythm, and personal nostalgia music stirs in me. Loosely rendered with an emphasis on linework, each piece captures how music looks and feels to me. When the instability of life needs grounding, music brings me back on beat, and this collection is way to document that.

From inception, The Band has been sought after by curators for juried exhibitions on the East Coast. Notably, Fire Mahogany Les Paul was juried into AMPED: The Art of Rock and Roll with the Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Exhibition.
