👋 Meet Rachel J Haungs, our October Member of the Month!

Rachel J. Haungs is an artist and designer from Huntersville, North Carolina, who captures the healing peace of the mountains, moments of delight in nature, and the vibrant energy of music through her paintings and drawings. A lifelong artist, she has taken private commissions for twenty years and began exhibiting her work in 2025. Notable shows include the Mooresville Arts 12th Annual Winter Juried Exhibition (Juror’s Choice Award – Craggy Pinacle Colourscape), the 47th Annual SpringFest Fine Art Show (First Place – Lake Junaluska, NC), and AMPED: The Art of Rock & Roll with the Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition. To give back to the community that shaped her (Appalachian State) and inspires much of her art, she has raised over $850 for Hurricane Helene relief through sales from her Colourscapes series. She is a member of Mooresville Arts and the Guild of Charlotte Artists and will exhibit with both this fall. 👩‍🎨
